Swarthmore Friends Meeting is on the campus of Swarthmore College.

The Meeting is easily accessible by train.  Take SEPTA’s Media-Wawa regional rail line from Philadelphia to Swarthmore, about 25 minutes. The Swarthmore station is on the college campus, about 1/4 mile from the Meetinghouse. Walk directly up the hill to Parrish Hall, the main college building, then turn right and walk through the rose garden. You will see the Meetinghouse on your left. For SEPTA information, click here.

Driving Directions

From the north:
Follow Route 320 South to Baltimore Pike. After Baltimore PIke, Route 320 takes a mandatory left turn, followed by a right turn at the first traffic light. Two blocks later, just after the crest of the hill, turn right on Elm Avenue. There is a sign at the corner noting the Swarthmore Friends Meetinghouse. In two blocks turn left on Whittier Place through the stone gates. You will soon see the Meetinghouse on your left, set back on a semicircular  drive.

From the south:
Follow Route 320 North through the town of Swarthmore. Two blocks past the railroad underpass, just before the crest of the hill, turn left on Elm Avenue. There is a sign at the corner noting the Swarthmore Friends Meetinghouse. In two blocks turn left on Whittier Place through the stone gates. You will soon see the Meetinghouse on your left, set back on a semi-circular drive.

Parking

On weekends, visitors may park on the drive in front of the Meetinghouse on in any nearby parking lot, even though some signs say for faculty only.  On weekdays, a few visitor parking spots are available in the DuPont parking lot to the right of Whittier Place. To get to DuPont parking lot, continue on Whittier Place past the Meetinghouse and take the first right. There is also on-street parking on Elm Avenue.
